Our History:
"Hassle Free Gaming" (HFG) was formed on November 3, 2008 after the leader of our parent group "Weapons of Mass Destruction" (WMD) decided to take a break from the arduous work it takes to maintain a gaming community. Through hard work and dedication to his vision the previous leader (Disconnect) built a community of gamers that enjoyed playing together without the stresses and drama of competitive "clans". He wanted a place to relax and game with good friends. His high standards of membership and server performance made WMD a refreshing community to hang out in, game in, and forget the hardships of life. During his tenure as leader Disconnect came to rely on members of his community to provide technical knowledge, web site development support, and administrative support. The people who helped build will never be forgotten. Among these were Lost, Revgolin, Grimace, and MaGno.
As with all good things, WMD came to an end. Not because of the normal clan drama or pettiness that normally divides a community, but simply because Disconnect needed a break and wanted the community to end on a high note. With that in mind Disconnect gracefully stepped down and MaGno decided to take the great foundation that Disconnect had established and carry it forward under a new name. The new name would reflect the goals of the community and thus was born Hassle Free Gaming. Using Disconnect as his main consultant the new community was established and continued to thrive. The majority of WMD members stayed with the new community and embraced the new leadership and name. Disconnect continued to support the new community and its growth. After a short break Disconnect returned as co-leader on May 22, 2009 and duties were officially divided between MaGno and Disconnect. With a genuine spirit of cooperation we are hopeful that HFG will continue to grow and our vision will become reality. We know that with your continued support HFG will always be a great place to call our gaming home.
